As president I have no desire for cuts to Medicaid or Social Security those programs are here to stay, I was one of the first republican governors to expand Medicaid under the Affordable care act. We saw uninsured rates fall by over 7% under my term as governor of Indiana which is more than the 5.6% decrease nationwide .We must continue restore jobs and the economy so people can afford to pay for their own insurance and not have to depend on government run programs. Americans should be able to afford healthcare through the American Dream. I would consider myself pro-live but I will allow abortions in cases when it is necessary to protect the child or parent along with exceptions in cases of rape and incest. I believe abortion restrictions are best left up for states to decide and I only advocate for a 15 week federal ban on abortions all other regulations should be left up to the state. But abortions should be safe, allowed, and rare with no criminalization, I support abstinence education as a devout christian I believe in marriage before sex and condemn infidelity.  I supported the overturning of affirmative action the program was always intended to be temporary to reduce racial inequality at our nations schools which it has done with increasing amounts diversity at schools. But now is a time to focus more on each students work and achievements over their race because race affects everyone differently if you want to write about race in your collage essay you can but race will not automatically be given to schools to consider for applications. I believe that trans-gender athletes shouldn't be allowed to compete in male or female sports due to them having an unfair biological advantage and believe sports should be biological males or female and maybe a new LGBTQ+ category. I contend that LGBTQ+ members are protected by the 14th amendment where no person shall be abridged right of US citizens. Every student deserves a choice of where to go to school and every student should be able to afford school. By cutting government funding for schools colleges will be forced to lower prices or face lower admissions and federal funding for schools will be given out to the neediest families. I will end the department of education and return control of schools to the states and people and with the money from the DOE will be returned to the people giving a budget reduction of 84 billion and giving more money and control to the people and states.
